San Francisco
11th July - 13th July

After a long drive back down to Boston, horrible experiences in Boston and LAX airports, fearing for our lives in LA's main Greyhound station and an overnight coach trip, we finally arrived in San Francisco. We had a lovely time here shopping, walking, sightseeing and cycling. Our decision to hire bikes one day and have a little cycle around turned into eight hours of bike hire, 28km of cycling, very sore behinds and a very cranky Kylie...though I did feel a great amount of achievement!

San Francisco is a great city and has a really nice feel to it. Really does need to sort out its homelessness issues though...I was here when I was 11 (16 years ago) and I remember the same problem very vividly. Anyway, we wished we could stay longer but we needed to return to LA and continue the adventure.

Ah, memories of Full House anyone?

Most of their mates were down in warmer waters giving birth, but these guys stuck around so we at least got to see two sea lions at Fisherman's Wharf.
